My Brother's Wedding☆

My old brother will gat married soon.
My brother lives in Tokyo now, so I have to prepare for the wedding instead of my brother.
I was busy because I had to do assignments of the class, too.
But, it was enjoyable to prepare for the wedding.
For example, making video, selecting the BGM, and so on...

I found my dream!!
I want to become a wedding planner.
I want to make couples happy!!

I read a shocking news in China.
There is an accommodation made of a public comfort room for migrant worker.
I can't imagine that I sleep in the public comfort room.
Can you imagine!?

Of course there are accommodations, but they cost a lot.
So, she has to live there as there is no other choice.
I thought that people who can live in an apartment are rich in China.
There is the gap bet ween rich and poor in China even they are developing in the industry.

The Monster Parents...

There are some parents who complain annoyingly to school in Japan.
They are called "The Monster Parents."

They don't scold their children even the children behaved badly, rather complain to school.
For example, a child kicked a stone. The stone rebounded to the child and he injured.
When school informed to his mother, she said "why is there a stone there? It's your fault!"

Can you believe that!?
There are a lot of parents who don't pay the cost for meals.
I don't know why the parents do that behavior...

The Prescription

There is the prescription system in Japan.
A case of murder is nearing the statue of limitations in September this year.

I don't agree with this prescription system, because crimes should not vanish in 15 years.
Considering the victims' feeling, people should not forgive the murder.
Japanese government have to abolish the prescription system.

We mustn't forget the cases of murder and crime.

A 45kg Capybara

A 45kg capybara is bred as a pet in Texas.

A ceaver looks like a big mouse. Their height is 75 to 130 centimeters.
According this article, this capybara likes blueberry yogurt ice cream.
He likes swimming in the river.

In Japan, the character goods of capybara are popular.
I think the character is cute like stuffed animal, and so on.
But, I don't think that the real one is cute.

I don't like mice. So, I can't keep a capybara.
Can you imagine that the there is a big mouse in your house!?

The Parking Space at University of Ryukyus

University of Ryukyus is biggest university in Okinawa. There are many students and faculties in this university.
Almost all students drive their own car to go to school, but parking space is not enough to park all cars.
Students who came to school later, they sometimes park illegal space, because they don’t want to late classes.
For this reason, little accidents sometimes happen.
I have to go to the university early; even they have no class in the morning, because if I came to school in the afternoon, I may be not able to park anywhere.

University of Ryukyus is biggest, but there are not enough parking spaces. This university is surrounded by forest. Of course saving nature is important, but it is necessary to extend parking space. We need more parking spaces.

Japan McDonald's Company Will Close 433 Shops

Japan McDonald's Company decided to close 433 stores in this year.
Japan McDonald's Company is planning to change the design inside of the stores.
But, there are some stores which cannnot apply the big design change.

These days, McDonald's stores are comfortable in Japan.
We can use the Internet and study there.
I sometimes study there with my friends for a longtime.

I wish McDonald's store become more comfortable!!

Saint Valentine's Day

Saint Valentine's Day will come soon.
But I don't have a boyfriend, so I don't have the plan to give someone chocolate.

In Japan, there are custom that people give chocolate to someone who aren't their boyfriend as a courtesy chocolate.
So, do I have to give chocolate to someone??
It's tiresome and it costs a lot...

The Speciality Store of Skirt for Men...

The speciality store of skirt for men opened on the Internet.
I know that there is the traditional skirt in Scotland.
But, I can't agree with this boom in Japan because I think that skirt is for women.

There are a lot of people who wear the unique clothes.
Some foreign people say that Japanese fashion is unique and interesting.

I can't understand why men want to wear skirt because I don't usually were skirt.
I don't know the goal of Japanese trend...

Vancouver Olympic Games will be held soon!!

Vancouver Olympic will start on February 12nd.
I'm looking forward to watch figure skating.
Recently, Japanese figure skating is top class in the world.

My mother likes watching sports on TV.
She watches soccer, volleyball, figure skating and a lot of sports.
This season is happy time for her.
She will watch sports by recording on video if she couldn't the match.

I and my mother are really looking forward the Vancouver Olympic Games.

Daiki Kameda became the new champion!!

On February 7th, the WBA flyweight title match of boxing was played and Daiki Kameda became the new champion.

I don't like watching combat sports like K-1 and professional wrestling.

But, I watched this match because most of Japanese keep watch on this match.



I felt emotion at the end of this match.

His old brother, Koki Kameda became the new WBC flyweight champion.

So, they are the first champion brother.

12-year-old girl has been arrested in NY!?

12-year-old girl has been arrested because of doodling on the desk in school in New York City. A teacher found that and notified the police. The police didn't grasp the situationin detail, but they arrested the girl.

Not only this case, but 13-year-old girl and 12-year-old student had been under arrest in 2007 and 2009 in the same case in Queens, New York.

I think this problem is too strict. There are a lot of complaints about this kind of case in this town.

Woman Gives Birth at 66

I was surprised at this news. In general, it is impossible to become pregnant over 50. I wonder that the mother can bring her baby up finely. She is now 66 years old. When the baby become 20 years old, she will be 86 years old. I hope that her surrounding people like her friends will help her.
Today's infertility treatments are improving.
I wrote about a youngest mothers before.
So, I think there will be a lot of youngest and oldest mothers in the future.

I hope that the number of children was increasing, but I don't want the number of youngest mother such as Peru and Chinese case to be increasing.

9-year-old girl has a baby!?

When I read this article, I couldn't believe that.
According to this article, 9 year-old girl gave birth to a 2,750 kilogram baby in China.
Chinese police is searching for the reason that the girl became pregnant.

In China, whatever the reason it is illegal to have a sex with under 14-year-old girl.
However, according to hospital of Shanghai, there are a lot of students who have an abortion.
About 30% in the number of woman who abort a baby are students.

It is not only in China, but also in many countries. The youngest mother was 5 years old in Peru.
I think it is impossible for 5-year-old girl to become pregnant. So, their body was affected in polluted environment.

Relocation of Futenma Air Base

We discussed about Futenma Air Base in the debating class.
The topic was "Japanese Govenment should relocate Futenma Air Base to outside of Okinawa."
We were the negative team. It was difficult for me to speech my opinion because I think that they should relocate Futenma Air Base to other prefecture or other country in my opinion.

Someone saied that the result of this topic is decided before we discuss about it. So, I wasn't obsessed winning, but contents.

The good point was we emphasized our opinion. After debating, I was exhausted. I don't want to do anything. BUT, I have a lot of assignments this week!!

Rent-a-friend

There are many new ways of making friends in these days. Rent-a-friend agency is a company that "rent" a friend.
For example, if you need a rich uncle to seal a business deal, they rent a man who pretend a rich person, but he is not your kinsman. He is a faker.

I think it is not good because you lie to sorrounding people if you rent a person. Especially on business, if you were caught out in this lie, you cannot get good relationships to the company.

It depends on the stuation. If children who don't have parents want them to come to the school sports day, they can rent parents.

When you rent a friend, all of your friends might become fakers. Be careful!

Jerome David Salinger Died...

J D Salinger died on January 27th. He was 91 years old. Reuters reported.
He was famous as a writer of "The Catcher in the Rye."
A lot of his books were translated in Japanese and were read by many people.
His books also were read all over the world.

I have read his literary works in the class of American literature.
The stories which Salinger wrote were interesting.
My professor likes his literatures, too.
I think he will talk about Salinger in next class.

His books will be read all over the world forever.
I pray for the response of his soul...

The Coming-of-Age Ceremony

On January 10th, the coming-of-ceremonies were held in most of cities, towns, and villages.
This year, about 1.27 million people camo of age. The population of new adults has been decreasing for three years because of declining birthrate.

It is a celebration of the time when a person reaches the age. They become legally adults. In Japan, people who are 20 years old are admitted as adults by the law. People who came of age dressed up and went to the ceremony.
There are many people who attend coming-of-age ceremonies wearing Kimono or Hakama. It is a celebration of once in a lifetime.

However, there are some people who cannnot become adults. Of course, they are admitted as adults legally, but some of them behave badly such as violence and dangerous driving.
One of the reasons why they behave such things, this is the only event in a lifetime. So, they think it is the only chance to do that.

Okinawa is famous for bad behavior by only a few people. But most of people have self-consciousness and responsibilities.

I wish them to become good people and behave morally.

A Big Earthquake

15 years ago, a big earthquake occured in Kobe and Osaka. It's called "Hanshin-Awaji Daishinsai." "Daishinsai" means "a great earthquake."
It occured in the morning on January 17th 1995. Many people were died or injured by it. We mustn't forget this earthquake.

There is a great earthquake in Haiti recently. Some specialists say that this earthquake becomes exceed "Hanshin-Awaji Daishinsai."

We recover from a great earthquake. So, we should help people who live in Haiti.

Tokyo Life

I have been to Tokyo for two days for the job hunting. I've been to Tokyo many times, but it was the first time to I go there alone. There were many people I've never seen. I can get on a train, but I didn't know where the station is. I called my sister and asked her. It was busy trip.

I want to work in Tokyo, but I worry that I can live there. My brother who lives there will come back to Okinawa this year. So, when I go to Tokyo, he is not there. I wish my friends could help me.

My father always says, "you can't live there, you will come back to Okinawa in three month." I will never give up my dream and Tokyo life!

4 Japanese Junior High School Students Possessed Marijuana

4 Japanese junior high school students were arrested on illegal possession of marijuana in Kobe, Hyogo prefecture.

I was surprised to hear this news. These days, marijuana and other drugs users are increasing in Japan. Japanese famous actor and actress were arrested last year. I don't know why these kids began to use marijuana. There are a lot of interesting things for them.

I really hope that junkies are all gone in Japan. I couldn't believe this news.
